What's the difference btwn n8n and make and gumloop vs zapier ?

So they're all automation tools. It just depends how technical you are and what you're trying to connect. Zapier is probably the one you're most familiar with because non-technical users can use it pretty much out of the box. And it's gotten a lot better over the years. It has a lot of native integrations which help. n8n is a lot more technical - I've had a lot of trouble using this tool, but people who are more technical say it's a lot more powerful. Gumloop is super new - I actually just joined their community and will be learning more about it in the coming weeks. I've heard it's more AI focused for automations.

I see skills posted online but don't know how to integrate them into my Claude instance. How can I use people's publicly posted skills?

People are always posting repos with AI skills, but I always recommend sorting through ratings for ones that are highly rated or popular, are from people you trust, etc. You should definitely read through the files before using them. You can throw them into AI to translate what they're doing and make sure they're safe to use. You also don't have to use someone's entire skill - you can pick and choose parts that are most relevant and/or helpful. You can download the skill or copy relevant files and upload them directly into Claude. In Claude, go to settings > skills > add > upload skill. You can always edit, so test it out and make sure it does what you want.
